Job Description:


  • Install, configure, and maintain database management systems (DBMS) to ensure optimal performance, security, and reliability.
  • Monitor database performance and capacity, troubleshoot issues, and implement performance tuning and optimization techniques.
  • Develop and implement backup and recovery plans, disaster recovery procedures, and data retention policies.
  • Configure and maintain database security settings, user access permissions, and data encryption.
  • Collaborate with IT teams, developers, and end-users to design, develop, and implement database solutions to support business needs.

Job Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Proven experience in database administration or related roles.
  • Strong knowledge of database management systems (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL) and database technologies.
  • Experience with database administration tools and monitoring utilities.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Certification in database administration (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional, Microsoft Certified Database Administrator) is advantageous.
