Job Description:
- Design, develop, and test aircraft, spacecraft, and related systems and components.
- Conduct research, analysis, and feasibility studies to determine the technical requirements and specifications for aerospace projects.
- Create and review engineering drawings, blueprints, and schematics for aircraft structures, propulsion systems, avionics, and other aerospace components.
- Perform computational modeling, simulation, and analysis to optimize aerodynamic performance, structural integrity, and system functionality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, electrical engineers, and systems engineers, to integrate components and systems into overall aircraft designs.
- Conduct testing, validation, and verification activities, including ground tests, flight tests, and system simulations, to ensure compliance with design requirements and safety standards.
- Evaluate and troubleshoot issues, anomalies, and failures during the development, testing, and operation of aerospace systems.
- Stay updated with advancements in aerospace technology, materials, and manufacturing processes.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field. Master’s degree or Ph.D. may be required for advanced positions.
- Proven experience in aerospace engineering roles, preferably in aircraft design, propulsion systems, or avionics.
- Strong knowledge of aerospace principles, aerodynamics, and aircraft systems.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards in the aerospace industry.
- Familiarity with aerospace manufacturing processes and materials.
