Network Technician

Job Description:

• Install, configure, and maintain network hardware, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
• Troubleshoot network issues and outages, including connectivity issues, performance degradation, and security breaches.
• Monitor network performance and utilization, and implement measures to optimize performance and reliability.
• Configure and maintain network security settings, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
• Provide technical support and assistance to end-users and other IT teams.

Job Requirements:

• Associate degree or technical certification in Network Administration, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience in network administration or support roles.
• Strong knowledge of networking concepts, protocols, and technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs).
• Experience with network hardware and software, including Cisco, Juniper, and Palo Alto Networks.
